Empyrea is the name of the country that our role play setting is focused. While this is possible to change in the future, we have no plans of expanding to other countries as of yet. Within this country, there are seven provinces with a variety of cultures. Please refer to this link to find out more about the provinces: Click Here. This thread is just vary basic information on Empyrea.

The languages of Empyrea vary and we've chosen to use actual languages to represent them. What is known as the “Common Tongue”  of Empyrea is our English language. While this language is usually learned by a large portion of the country, it is not a requirement for any character. Characters in Cardollan likely do not know the common tongue. Each Province does have their own separate language. (For example, Cryewell and Italian)

The currency of Empyrea is based around coins of different material. While the entire country uses coin as their currency, each province may engrave their own logos and symbols on their coins to identify make. This means people of different provinces may reject certain currencies.

The currency in Empyrea are in four levels of coin: (Compare to U.S. Dollar)

    Copper: $1
    Silver: $10
    Gold: $100
    Platinum: $1,000

This is the currency that the general public would have access to. However, Platinum is an extremely rare currency that is difficult to come by.

    Gold Bars: $1,000
    Platinum Bars: $10,000

While gold bars can be seen more commonly than platinum bars, they are both rare currencies. They’re also heavy and strictly watched throughout the country. Gold bars are usually used by elite businesses and platinum bars only used in governmental and political deals.

    Empyrea Wildlife

The wildlife of Empyrea varies in the ways people would expect them to vary. While regular creatures in our non-magical world do exist, such as cows, dogs, horses, cats, etc..., there are magical creatures that inhabit the world. However, magical creatures are naturally pretty rare. Most of these creatures, unless described otherwise in the bestiary, will follow the common legends and depictions in fantasy. For example, dragons are a very rare intelligent creature that can talk, have massive destructive power, collect treasure, breathe an element, and vary in size from small to gargantuan. Many creatures will be described in the site bestiary. Members are allowed to also create beasts for the world as well. Just apply in the custom creation center. Other mystical creatures that exist are Griffins, Hippogriff, Gargoyles, Minotaur, Centaurs, Siren, Fairies, Phoenix, Goblins, Ogres, Trolls, and just about anything you can think of.
