Ashgarde is the capital of Cryewell. The main thing people across Empyrea know Ashgarde for is Wyrmgate Bridge. The Wyrmgate Bridge is massive—2 lanes of car traffic on each side of the rail lines with enough of a walking path for small booths to be set up and not be obstacles to maneuver around. This leads into Ashgarde proper, where society is divided between the dockhands on the coast and the citydwellers on top of the rise. The city is dominated by its rounded superstructures with the central domus being both the house for the local Spartenai and the meeting place of the Umbral Board.

Eboncairn, the tiered city, is one of the most interestingly-built cities in Cryewell. It is build on top of, alongside, and even inside steep-sided islets. Each of the 63 islets has its own addresses, corresponding to what tier and direction the building is facing. Bridges span from islet to islet, and many of the larger islets even have tunnels and spans for the railroads. Topside houses are usually more desired while side houses are comparable to tenements with either exterior or underground entrances. The further down you go, the closer you get to the swampy marshes that lead into the Hydrac ocean, and thus, the closer you get to the seedy underbelly.

Heathpoint is a city located on four separate mountain peaks. These peaks are very close to one another in both distance and altitude, allowing them ease of access to each of the peaks. The city is known for being quieter and more relaxed compared to the other cities within Cryewell's borders. Heathpoint is another older city, originally built for mages trying new kinds of magics that might make life difficult in other, more populated areas, and then for dragon-watching when they were still mostly unknown. Nowadays, it's usually the elderly or those who are tired of the hustle and bustle of city life elsewhere that inhabit Heathpoint.

New Cinderport

New Cinderport is one of the newest cities within Cryewell. Unlike other cities which sprung up out of growths of old, New Cinderport was designed to be a city from the get-go. It is built on the coast of Mount Blackfall. This mountain is actually the largest active volcano on Empyrea. It was designed to be a large mining operation to get access to the rare earth minerals from the volcano's eruptions. Most of the city isn't built expensively so there won't be much of a loss if a devastating eruption wipes it out.
