Basics: Unlike the traditional Dwarves that are normally seen, these Dwarves are quite literally born from the earth. They are essentially an earth elemental by terms of their rising to life, but not entirely so as their magic may not always stem from earth. While many of the Dwarves are small and boxy, likely an adaption to their long hours underground and in tight spaces, there are just as many that are tall and large in stature. The stereotype of Dwarves being small does come from their history as taller Dwarves have only recently appeared in the last one hundred and fifty years. Dwarves naturally excel at earth based magics and geomancy due to being born from earth themselves. Many Dwarves are also excellent smiths, miners, and jewel makers. Forging seems as natural to them as breathing.

Special Trait: Not only are they exceptional earth magic users, if they choose to go that route, but Dwarves have the natural ability to swim through the earth 50% faster than their natural speed. This ability is the only ability that is allowed to break the skill cap stated in the skill system.
